There is nothing better than welcoming a little baby into the world…. especially when you know how much she is loved!

I was fortunate enough to follow her journey from the beginning through maternity pictures and becoming good friends with her sweet mama.

I knew she was going to be making her entrance at least a little bit early so when I got the call that mom was already dilated to a 6 I jumped in the car and flew the the hospital.

I arrived to find mom contracting regularly but patiently waiting for the anesthesiologist, who was being pulled in many different directions in Labor and Delivery that day.

He finally showed up and we were all super happy to see him, however we unfortunately saw him multiple times that day due to a faulty pump….

…and the wait continued.

Facebook was updated.

Jokes were cracked.

Duck Dynasty was quoted.

It was a party filled with anticipation.

Sweet dad was with her every step of the way.

He was her rock.

Her safe place.

Her comfort.

After a series of crazy events including epidural wearing off while dilated to a 10, fully effaced and completely dropped and doctor being stuck at a hospital on the other side of town it was finally time to push.

Nurse did not want mom to push because doctor was so far away but mom was so patient and so in control, not an easy thing to do when dealing with such extreme variables.  However, needless to say mom was elated to see doctor and did not take long to get little lady here.

After a handful of pushes Miss Quinn Marie was welcomed into this world and into an amazing family.

It was so.much.fun. to watch mom and dad just adore her.  All they could do is just look at her and soak in her sweetness.

The warmth,

the sweetness,

the newness,

nothing compares.

Perfection.

Welcome to the world Miss Quinn.
You sure are loved!

Sierra is one of the most naturally beautiful and genuinely sweet girls I have ever met.

I have actually been lucky enough to know her for a few years and she never ceases to amaze me.

She is off to Brigham Young University in the fall and is so super excited for this next chapter in her life.

She is going to be A.MA.ZING.

I cannot wait to hear all about your college experiences!

Good luck, Miss Sierra, you are going to Rock it!

This cute mama is one of the sweetest people on the planet.  I adore her.

I was lucky enough to have her as my oldest child’s kindergarten teacher. He adores her.

We had so much fun documenting her anticipation for their little lady to arrive.  The nursery is done.  The house is set.  Mom and dad are ready.  They already adore little Quinn.

Their love for each other is contagious and you can just see it twinkling in their eyes.  It was so much fun to watch the spark between them.  He adores her.

As we stopped at this location Britney started to giggle and told me that their wedding reception had been in almost that exact spot.  It was so much fun to think of the journey they have been on since that day and how it will only get better.

I L.O.V.E. these two and cannot wait until it is three!

Congrats you two.  She will be here soon!  I will see you in the delivery room:)

Indy | my birth story

Photographing births is one of the most wonderful things that I get to do.

But having my OWN birth photographed is even more amazing.

You can meet my newest addition and hear her story {its a good one} here.

These were their grandpas old stomping grounds,

his old high school,

his old Ford truck.

I am sure that 35 years ago he would have never imagined his grandchildren would be just as cool sitting in the truck as he was.

Nothing like a beautiful summer day,

a bright shiny classic truck,

 and some good memories.

Definitely one for the history books.
